About Eliyahu
Eliyahu Moscowitz Hy”d was a 24-year-old bochur from Chicago. Full of life, talented, connected, and possessing a smile that never left his face. In recent years, he worked as Mashgiach Kashrus (Kosher Supervisor) at a local supermarket, where he was well known for his kind smile and willingness to help everyone.
During Simchas Torah, he was shot and killed in a public park.
We will miss him dearly — we already do — and we turn to you, our friends and family, people who knew Eliyahu and those who never met him — to keep his memory alive. Help us honor him with this Mitzvah campaign.
Eliyahu loved Torah and Mitzvos to his very core, and nothing can possibly give his Neshama a greater purpose and elevation than our doing many Mitzvos in his memory.
Your good deeds have brought so much light into the world already — and at this dark hour, a little more light is exactly what we need. Please, do a Mitzvah for Eliyahu.
May we only share simchos!
You can also help support Eliyahu’s family financially during this devastating time.

I am praying that God’s comfort and loving arms may surround you and your family.
This is a beautiful way to keep Eliyahu love for doing mitzvos alive! When I think of Eliyahu z”l I think of his warm and calm demeanor. I too want to emulate that special touch he had for others and my pledge of speaking calmly when frustrated is something I want to work on. May his neshama have a huge Aliya and help bring Mashiach in his parents and loved ones days!
