About Tyler

Tyler was part of Friendship Circle of Toronto for 11 years. He began as a young boy of 7, accompanying his older brother. He hung around and spoke to children his age and younger. A year or two later he was paired with an older volunteer to shadow a child with special needs. At the age of 12 (younger than most volunteers) Tyler had the sensitivity and skills to become a full-fledged member of our volunteer brigade. Throughout his years with Friendship Circle he was paired with a variety of children with special needs. In his last three years, Tyler rose to the challenge and shadowed an older teenager, who was extremely challenging. Tyler was our youngest and longest standing volunteer in Friendship Circle Toronto.

Friendship Circle will always remember Tyler for his compassion, sensitivity, and commitment towards others.

Chapter 20

1. For the Conductor, a psalm by David.

2. May the Lord answer you on the day of distress; may the Name of the God of Jacob fortify you.

3. May He send your help from the Sanctuary, and support you from Zion.

4. May He remember all your offerings, and always accept favorably your sacrifices.

5. May He grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill your every counsel.

6. We will rejoice in your deliverance, and raise our banners in the name of our God; may the Lord fulfill all your wishes.

7. Now I know that the Lord has delivered His anointed one, answering him from His holy heavens with the mighty saving power of His right hand.

8. Some [rely] upon chariots and some upon horses, but we [rely upon and] invoke the Name of the Lord our God.

9. They bend and fall, but we rise and stand firm.

10. Lord, deliver us; may the King answer us on the day we call.

Tyler is an inspiration, and his legacy is truly touching and far-reaching. I send my heartfelt wishes to the entire family.

We love and miss Tyler. He was our uncle. We pledge to get involved with friendship circle and continue in Tyler’s footsteps.

What a beautiful idea!
My kids want to get involved and pledge a mitzvah for him daily. He came over often and kept them company when I was in the hospital with my heart baby. It’s incredible how many people lives he touched…more than most in a lifetime.
May his neshama have the highest aliyah.
